El Dia E: Spanish Day at the Instituto Cervantes, London

El Dia E at Instituto Cervantes on 18 June is a day of Spanish activities.

Attention all students and would-be students of Spanish!

The Instituto Cervantes in London is holding an all-day Spanish-speaking party on Saturday 18 June at its HQ in Eaton Square, Kensington.

‘El Dia E’ kicks off at 10am and features of a range of activities including live dance by the Bolivar Hall Dance Group from Venezuela, live music and a performance of Mexican folklore.

There will be a Spanish cheese tasting, a jamon-cutting workshop and a sale of Spanish and Mexican products, as well as a paella cooking demonstration with chef Gines Lorente, and a flamenco class with dancer Sara Olivar and musician Tony ‘El despeinado’.

All this plus taster Spanish classes (the mainstay of the Instituto Cervantes), games and children’s activities.
